Dear Friends

Why do we come to church every Sunday? What does it accomplish?

In Chapter two of The Hour That Changes Everything, John writes:

If the quest of worship is to encounter God intimately, the consequence is that we leave the sanctuary different from the way we entered it. We cannot spend time consciously opening ourselves to the presence of God without being changed, and this transformation must overflow into every facet of our lives.

Perhaps this morning, as we leave the sanctuary, we could ask ourselves this question: 'What does God want to change in me this morning?' and 'How will I live differently this week because of it'?
